SCS Team is term and whole life insurance built around one job: making sure the people you love are provided for, whenever the unexpected happens — not just today, but decades from now.
A plain-language application — no dense forms, and no medical exam required for most term plans.
Licensed agents answer the phone. If a claim needs to be filed, someone walks your family through it directly.
Lock in your premium for the full length of your term. What you sign up for is what you pay, year after year.
Most people finish the entire process in one sitting, without a phone call.
A short set of questions about who depends on you and what you want covered — mortgage, income replacement, or final expenses.
See real rates across term lengths and coverage amounts, side by side, in plain numbers.
No branch visit, no fax machine. Review your policy and sign from wherever you are.
Coverage begins on your terms, for as long as your policy runs — and we'll tell you well before it's time to renew.
Three ways to protect the people who count on you — choose the one that matches how long you need it.
The most straightforward way to cover a mortgage, income, or your kids' years at home.
Permanent protection that never expires, with cash value that grows over time.
Modest coverage designed to handle funeral costs and small debts without burdening your family.
"After my father passed, the claim was paid out in twelve days. Nobody made us fight for it — we just had to make a phone call, and someone we could actually talk to handled the rest."— Dana R., beneficiary, SCS Team policyholder since 2019
A common starting point is 10–15 times your annual income, adjusted for outstanding debts like a mortgage and the years remaining until your kids are financially independent. Our quote tool asks a few questions and suggests a range — you're never locked into it.
Most term policies under $2M for applicants in general good health skip the exam entirely, using a short health questionnaire instead. Whole life and higher coverage amounts may require a brief exam, which we can schedule at your home.
Yes. Many term policies can convert to whole life without a new medical exam, and you can typically increase coverage during major life events like a marriage or a new child.
Policies include a grace period, typically 30 days, before coverage lapses. We'll reach out by phone and email well before that window closes.

SCS Team Alerts is our SMS messaging program. By opting in, you may receive text messages related to your insurance quote requests, application status updates, payment reminders, policy renewal notices, and customer service communications from SCS Team Life Insurance Agency. Message content will relate only to the account or request you've opted in through — we do not send unrelated marketing text campaigns.
You can cancel this SMS service at any time. Simply text "STOP" to the shortcode you received messages from. Upon sending "STOP," we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us as part of this program.
If you'd like to start receiving messages again after opting out, simply sign up the same way you did initially — through your SCS Team quote request, application, or account portal — and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.
If you experience any issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP at any time, or reach out directly to our support team at [email protected] or by calling 1-800-555-0142 (toll-free).
